To follow their 1st album “We Were Strong, So We Got Lost“, Versatile will release their first single “The Sun Is On Fire EP“. “The Sun Is On Fire” shows how Gilb’R, from Chateau Flight and its house/techno/electro production, can compose a perfect new wave influenced popsong with the haunted voice of Nicolas Ker… For remixes, Bot’Ox and I:Cube were requisitioned. The parisian duo Bot’Ox deliver an impressive epic electro anthem, pushing things darker. I:Cube remix digs in the psychedelic area with a version far from his latest 12″. A remix in the vein of Spaceman 3 or “Madchester” sound. And last but not least, Gilb’R dubbed his own track for a version which makes you feel back in 1969… This psyché/hypnotic /kraut track has the same effect as a psychotropic substance… Don’t listen to it too many times, or you may finish dancing naked under the moonlight, lost in a forest…
